Scottie Scheffler has, in all likelihood, slammed the door on the green jacket.

5:55 p.m. |A great 18th for Rory McIlroy and Collin Morikawa

Rory McIlroy started the day 10 shots behind leader Scottie Scheffler, but he did almost everything he could to catch him on Sunday at the Masters.

The man from Northern Ireland holed an improbable bunker shot for birdie on the final hole for a round of 8-under-par 64. It's Rory's best round ever at Augusta National Golf Club, and the best score ever in the final round of the Masters.

McIlroy finishes the tournament at 7-under 281, three shots behind Scheffler, who just teed off No. 14.

And for an encore, McIlroy's playing partner, Collin Morikawa, also holed out from the bunker for a birdie to shoot 67 and move into a tie for third at 4-under 284.

5:40 p.m. | Cameron Smith's chances fade into Rae's Creek

Rory McIlroy is in second at 6-under through 17.

5:10 p.m. |Cameron Smith's chance comes and goes

After hitting into the trees left of the 10th fairway, it appearaed Cameron Smith's shot at the Masters was over. Just ask Rory McIlroy about hitting over there.

But Smith made a solid recovery and an excellent third shot to 6 feet. Meanwhile, leader Scottie Scheffler was making bogey. A made putt would have cut the lead to three shots entering Amen Corner.

Instead, Smith hung the putt out to the right and made a bogey of his own. Scheffler's lead remains at four shots with eight holes to play.

4:45 p.m. | Rory McIlroy, Collin Morikawaeagle13th hole

Rory McIlroy continued his march up the Masters leaderboard Sunday with an eagle on the par 5 13th hole.

3:21p.m. | Cameron Smith birdies first two holes to get one shot behind lead at the Masters, while Tony Finau drains long eagle putt

While Smith couldn't sink his eagle, Tony Finau made this 59-foot putt on the 13th.

The eagle made up for a double bogey on No. 11. Finau is 6 over for the tournament.

3:05 p.m. | Tiger Woods finishes Masters final round with a second straight worst round at Augusta
